Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

The Head of Contents will support the Product Development Area in the following activities (non-exhaustive list):


· To shape and execute the content strategy to drive brand awareness, engage audience, and support overall marketing objectives.

· To develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals.

· To create ad hoc marketing projects and activations for sponsors and partners.

· To lead a team of content producers, ensuring high-quality and impactful content across various channels.

· To collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate content into broader marketing campaigns.

· To work with external agencies.

Requirements

· Italian mother tongue

· Educated to degree level (preferred in marketing, communications, or a related field)

· Fluent in English

· Solid marketing know how

· Documentation and specifications skills: capability to create clear and concise documentation

· Project management skills

· Previous experience in marketing area or related (min. 8/10 years), with a track record of successful strategy development and execution.

· Preferable experience in previous editions of the Olympic/Paralympic Games and/or other past major events.

· High quality project management skills.

· Ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary working environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

· Good communication skills and ability to provide clear and well-argued presentations - formally and informally.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.

· Ability to identify problems/issues, seek pertinent information, evaluate data and develop appropriate solutions quickly and thoroughly.

· Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills to devise creative solutions to complex and sensitive issues whenever emergency strikes.

· In-depth knowledge of the sports landscape.

· Capacity to ensure both an ‘helicopter view’ and attention to details.
