Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified IT Finance Application coordinator with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing IT projects focused on ERP solution implementation.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capabilities in successfully delivering IT projects on the area of Finance, Cost control and procurement area.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Lifecycle Management: manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to the implementation phase, closely monitoring milestones and ensuring business needs are fully implemented.

2. Communication and Collaboration: effectively translate business requirements into technical specification to ensure the system respond efficiently to the operational needs. Maintain clear communication with various stakeholders, including development teams, QA departments, and clients.

3. Risk Control and Problem Resolution: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Manage issues promptly, seeking effective solutions to ensure project success.

Performance Evaluation: Constantly monitor project performance against set objectives, making changes or improvements to the project plan as needed.



The Opportunity

Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026’s Games Technology team takes business ideas from concept through launch and to operations and support.

Our range of services include Corporate IT (HQ/subsidiary equipment, end user equipment, office automation/productive tools, finance system, procurement systems, intranet, etc.), Business IT (Mktg system, CRM system, Billing system, etc.), Digital media services (Pre-games websites; games-time website; mobile apps & other micro-sites; digital contents; etc.), Corporate Cyber Security, Games Applications (accommodation, accreditation, transportation planning; ticketing; etc.), Fixed/Wifi/Mobile public Telco, etc.

The IT Applications area, within the Games Technology structure, is responsible for governance, management, integration, delivery, and operations of a defined set of applications and tools to support the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games operations. All Technology activities are mainly managed through designated Service providers. The IT Applications area should orchestrate and cooperate with all providers and involved stakeholders to drive the delivery of the identified TEC solutions.

The IT Finance Application Coordinator will work with the Finance team to ensure the ERP solution is responding to the business needs. S/he will manage direct relationship with the key users and the Service Provider to ensure the implementation of new features, integration with other systems and the related maintenance is manage according to the plan and within the agreed SLA. S/he works with the team to the successfully deliver each project phase: from requirement gathering to development and integration, till from the User acceptance testing to maintenance and support.

Requirements

· Minimum of 3-5 years of specific experience in delivering IT projects related to ERP software implementation (eg. Oracle Cloud, Ivalua or equivalent solutions)

· In-depth knowledge of key Corporate business areas (eg. Finance, Cost control, Procurement etc) and its integrations.

· Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.

· Good experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) and strong competence in the business analysis area

· Good communication and collaboration skills.

· Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.

· Familiarity with IT Architectures and Infrastructures: Understanding of software architecture concepts, servers, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and deployment systems.

· Experience in QA testing and UAT.
