Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a TLC (Telecommunication) Service Manager.

This role requires expertise in planning, designing, delivering, and operating access network infrastructure within a multidisciplinary context encompassing wired and wireless networks (WiFi), private mobile radio, and networks for audio and video component management. The successful candidate will also oversee the utilization of access components on mobile radio networks.


The TLC Service Manager will collaborate directly with our supplier partners responsible for building the infrastructure, engaging in international and multi-disciplinary activities. The primary objective of this role is to enhance our corporate IP geographical network, supporting both the Foundation and Games.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, installation, configuration, and security of network infrastructure.
  • Conducting tests, verifications, troubleshooting, and implementation of solutions.
  • Leading exercises to ensure optimal network performance.

Requirements

  1. Basic Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in telecommunication technologies to manage and resolve issues efficiently.
  2. Project Management: Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor activities effectively.
  3. Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for quickly identifying and resolving issues or faults.
  4. Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with internal staff, telecom service providers, and stakeholders.
  5. Goal Orientation: Strong customer focus, ensuring telecom solutions meet end-user needs and satisfaction.

Desired Skills:

  • Foreign Languages: Experience working in multidisciplinary groups and proficiency in foreign languages are advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm: Passion for the role and belief in its importance within the context.
