Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to drive our BI initiative, building dashboards and reports that drive business outcomes for the Committee.


This person will work closely with many functional areas in the Committee to understand their reporting needs, then build models and dashboard to address those needs in a timely and reliable manner.


This person will work with the application providers to plan a roadmap for data points that should be available in the BI platform and to resolve any issues or gaps in the data already available.


What you’ll do:


- Collect requirements from business users and translate them into dashboards and presentations which drive business decisions

- Build data models and data hygiene on top of data from various applications which power business needs within the Committee

- Work with the business users and the application providers to plan the data points needed to meet the reporting needs of the Committee

- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the data available for reporting to the business users

Requirements

What you’ll bring:


- Minimum 3 years delivering business intelligence within an organization

- High proficiency in SQL

- A passion for building data models in SQL to power consistent, accurate metrics for business users.

- Proven experience in one or more BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, QuickSight, or PowerBI, Quick BI

- Demonstrated ability to narrate complex stories with data

- Strong organizational skills, time management, portfolio prioritization experience, and accountability required.

- Ability to work in both Italian and English

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Analytics preferred
