Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for Media Accreditation Coordinator.

The Media Accreditation Coordinator will manage the end-to-end accreditation process for Media stakeholders.

They are also responsible for engaging directly with internal and external stakeholders to secure efficient communication channels through planning and operational phases.

Support the Games Family Accreditation Senior Manager in planning, engagement, and operations.

The resource will be responsible for:

-Coordinate the accreditation process Media populations for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games;

-Identify, register, and issue accreditation to all members of Media populations, composed of Press (Journalists, Photographers and Non-Rights Holding Media), as well as Media Rights Holding Broadcasters and OBS;

-Development and implementation of accreditation policies for Media populations in accordance with the Olympic Charter, the IOC and IPC guidelines, and the Host City Contract;

-Direct and manage a team of Media Accreditation Specialists and volunteers;

-Liaise with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient accreditation process prior to and during the Games;

-Coordinate the accreditation process across the dedicated venues, mainly from the Media Accreditation Centre located at the Main Media Centre;

-Support the wider accreditation team and Games Family Senior Manager with relevant projects such as quotas, Guest Passes, etc.

Requirements

-Accreditation experience at a coordinator level in at least one other global multi-sport event.

-Proven project, risk and business management skills, and a working knowledge of project management tools.

-Proven ability to manage a multi-layered project independently and take ownership of operations and procedures.

-Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with other departments.

-Evidence of ability to apply a clear, logical, and coherent approach to the analysis of complex issues, and the development and implementation of recommendations for action.

-Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.

-Ability to manage high workload via effective time management and use of resources.

-Highly numerate, good IT (Information Technology) skills, detail-conscious and well-organised.

-Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

-English (full professional proficiency), Spanish, French is desired.

-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

-Knowledge of accreditation systems and database management.
