Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for a Media Services Support Coordinator.

The Media Services Support Coordinator is responsible for planning and delivery of the key Games-time services and facilities to written press, photographers, and broadcasters in liaison with the IOC and the IPC, OBS – Olympic Broadcasting Services (Host Broadcaster).


  • Taking part in the general planning and implementation of media facilities and services.
  • Assist the Media Services Support Manager in the office daily tasks.
  • Assistance and coordination on site in the organization of events such as World Broadcaster Briefing, World Broadcaster Meeting, Press Operations World Briefing, Press Agencies meetings.
  • Attendance of meetings with different stakeholders.
  • Coordination with dedicated FAs for accreditation, accommodation, and transport departments for media needs.
  • Support the development and writing of the Official Guides and Policies and Procedures.
  • At Games time, general coordination of all media matters.
  • At Games time, daily report to Media Services Support Manager.
  • Written debrief to Media Services Support Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience in detailed planning, implementing and operating media operations at international sports, preferably in previous Olympic Games;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international sports media landscape;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Pro-active approach and creative problem-solving skills;
  • Clear understanding of the needs of the media and knowledge of their working areas;
  • Experience in project management including working with and coordinating suppliers;
  • Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of one or several other Olympic movement official languages is an advantage;
  • IT-experienced, knowledge of usual office software and Internet.
