Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for a Press Services Manager.

The Press Services Manager has the key role in leading the preparations and delivery of the services and conditions for written press and photographers, in liaison with the IOC and the IPC.


  • Taking part in the general planning and implementation of media facilities and services.
  • Planning and implementing tailor-made solutions and services for press stakeholders.
  • Organize and coordinate dedicated meetings such as Press Operations World Briefing, Press Agencies meetings and similar.
  • Attendance of meetings with MC26 FAs and the office daily tasks.
  • Responsible of the coordination with dedicated FAs for accreditation, accommodation, and transport departments for press needs.
  • General coordination of all press matters, including e.g. the Press Guide, the planning of Press Services desks at Games Time, the Press Kit concept and delivery.
  • Coordination on site.
  • Written debrief to Head of Media Operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in detailed planning, implementing and operating media operations at international sports, preferably in previous Olympic Games;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international sports media landscape;
  • Capability of managing projects and deliver on time;
  • Management of different suppliers’ needs;
  • Ability to analyze and understand complex situations and suggest/take appropriate decisions and measures;
  • Active involvement in relationship with domestic and international media organizations with regards their operations;
  • Good coordinator with common sense and able to make priorities;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Pro-active approach and creative problem-solving skills;
  • Knows how newspapers/television/websites are structured, how they approach work;
  • Profound experience in event management, including working with and coordinating suppliers;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
  • Driving License;
  • Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of one or several other Olympic movement official languages is an advantage;
  • IT-experienced, knowledge of usual office software and Internet.
