Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for Transport Host City Coordinator.

The Transport Host City Coordinator will be in charge of supporting the Responsible Person for Olympic Territories. In particular, he/she will be responsible for managing complex relationships with different Local Autorithies (i.e. Regions, Counties, Municipalities, Mobility Agencies, Road Operators, TPL Operators, etc.), which contribution will be crucial for the success of Olympic Transport Plan.


  • Providing technical support for Local Authorities.
  • Organizing updating meetings with Local Authorities.
  • Setting up all the back-up technical materials for the meetings collecting data from different members of Milano Cortina 2026 Transport Team.
  • Taking Minutes from the various meeting s updating the Action Plan for each Local Working Group.
  • Integrating all the solutions detected into the Transport Team Planning docs.
  • Integrating the Action Plans of Milano Cortina 2026 and Local Authorities, guaranteeing coherence and alignment.
  • Regularly interacting with Local Authorities in order to monitor the progress of activities.
  • Interacting with City Operations Functional Area to verify the state of advance for Transport Activities managed by Local Authorities.
  • Monitoring principal infrastructural measures planned, updating the related risk levels for the whole Transport Project.



Requirements


  • 3/5 years of work experience;
  • A previous experience in technical/organizational secretariat activities for events of international importance will be considered a plus;
  • Management of relations with local public authorities;
  • Operational knowledge of transport and mobility within events and public transport;
  • Excellent skills of dialogue, relational and precision;
  • Experience in transport planning in sporting events or not, of international interest;
  • Experience in managing relations with local public authorities for the organization of sporting events or not;
  • Experience in managing relationships with external customers in complex contexts.
  • Master’s Degree in Economics, Engineering or Law;
  • Excellent language skills in English (C1);
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
